Throbbing Headache

And so the mayhem has started…I’m going through the weekend on 2hrs of sleep because I spent the entire Friday night

- figuring out this RSS2.0 thing
- playing twirl, texas hold’em, and blackjack on facebook
- deciding whether wordpress or blogspot was better for me 

And I’m sitting in someone else’s office now putting up this post because I can!

The bright side is at least I still have a full Saturday ahead since normally I would still be asleep.

Oh and first Thai lesson on Sunday! Saswadee ka!

Hello world!

Hello world indeed! I’ve been avoiding blogging for awhile now, including facebook, del.icio.us, digg, and all the other new web2.0 applications that have surfaced in the past 24hours. But I told myself, especially being in marketing, that I have to embrace social media at some point beyond gofugyourself and the passe friendster.

So now I have successfully signed up on facebook and del.icio.us (the latter is great by the way, the former I’m still undecided) and I have a blog. And I’m overcome by that sense of deja vous where I spent the better half of my university nights and mornings trawling the web for useless info, random facts, and games. There’s just so much to catch up on…apparently nothing changes us except the people we meet and the books (or blogs) we read.

Now let’s see how long this lasts before either my dislike for writing or my procrastination wins out in the end.
